At the Store (What to Look for)
- well shaped and vibrant
- evenly spread, full branches
- a healthy tree should feel heavy when you pick it up
- ask for a fresh cut on the bottom! This allow the tree to absorb more water.
At Home (What to do)
- Place your tree in a garage or balcony to let it adjust to the temperature change. Store your tree in a cool, sheltered space until you're ready to decorate.
- Once the tree has had a day to adjust to the temperature change, bring it inside and place in water right away. Place in a spot away from any heat source.
- Cut away the bag or netting and allow branches to settle for a few hours.
- Add Miracle Gro for Christmas Trees each time to add a litre of water. This will help with needle retention and overall freshness and vibrancy.
Now get out the decoration bins and have fun!
